It's going Great so far...!

Well it's only been a couple days since we moved to the beach and we've moved in to the Coco La Palm.
The beach is Great right now , and hot too.

I met Big Poppa on our first day and promised to come down to his hotel the White Sands and buy him a drink.
So DanaP and I head down there and he fools me and buys me a drink...lol
Super nice guy and he doesn't know it but I'll get him back.

Thursday was another great time at the BC from the Canoes. Had a super meal and the group I took from the Coco loved the food and the vibe of Canoe.Perfect way to end our beach day.

Friday was such a busy one for us...lol , we went to the Boat Bar after a hot day and I must say the band was smoking.
Nice to see the guys playing some of the music they like instead of the tourist play list.
An interesting version of Dave Brubecks "Take Five" done reggae style, only in Jamaica....loved it.
Left about 4pm for a nap and a shower. The phone rings in our room and who is it ?

Tami and Martina are calling from the White Sands. They are well into the two for one drink special..t.lol
So we throw on some clothing and head over there.
After a few drinks and and a quick stop for to pick up our dinner pills we head out for dinner on the westend.
We went to the German Bar at St, Marys Bay.
WE were told the pizza was killer and cheap, it was excellent and so was the snitchel ( spelling)...lol
Can't spell , but I sure can eat it. Check it out Great food.
We watched an A/C D/C concert video on the wall of the place while we dined...lol.
Caught a route cab back to the Coco and the girls head onto Green Island.

After we arrived at the Coco I had the chance to do a few songs with band that was playing there for a special night. I had a blast doing some old stuff with them.

Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
Ahhhh..life in Negril, gotta love it.

We were part of the Canoe group with Stan and Betty on Thursday (Jeff and Amy - the big guy and the blonde for Rasta Stan since he won't know us by our names, lol - next year we'll bring name tags). The food, drinks, and band were great and were only surpassed by the company we were in. Rasta Stan and Betty are the BEST, Stan doesn't know a stranger and Betty is the sweetest, nicest woman.

Stan and Betty be sure to tell Dana, Patty and her husband (Gary or Greg, we needed name tags, lol) that we said hello.

He should know us as Larry and Beth (or the guy with a white beard) We are relatively newcomers to Negril and have on met Dave a few times. He picked me some Jamaican apples on our first visit.

thanks for sharing your experiences with the German Bar. My husband and me are Germans and we would give them a try for dinner when we get back!

Agree to all comments, great couple and Stan has a great sound, heard him first at Coco then rode with them to Seastar and had another great night, we've been sitting with them on the beach each day, last night tonight, leave in the morning for Atlanta.....sad day

Bob and I will be taking your spot next to Betty & Stan. We arrive on Friday. That's for keeping it warm!:cool:

Not too badly. I think I will have no trouble walking to my beach chair and into the water. Might even be able to take a stroll down the beach a little ways. Thanks for asking. Only 1-1/2 sleeps for us now. See you soon.

That's good news! Have a safe trip - we'll be there on Thursday (next week). By the time we arrive everyone will probably be at Canoe but we'll find all of you eventually!
