Never stayed there Spanky but you asked what the board thinks....
at $400 to nearly $900 a night (dbl occ) I think it is outrageous. People will say it is great after paying that much per night just so they don't appear to be stupid and sometimes things are as they appear.
My budget in Jamaica is $900 per month! It is like everything else. If you have the dough to blow then blow it!
Peace and Guidance
I have stayed a few nights, yes nice spot but very pricey. PM me if you have more questions.
Its all relative!
The Spa Retreat - if that's the same place, was out of my price range for an overnighter, but we certainly did enjoy their hospitality last February. Six of us gals went for a SPA treat and enjoyed a couple of drinks and dip in the pool.
We had a nice lunch at the Blue Mahoe restaurant and then the One Love bus picked us up for the crawl. Terrific couple of hours that I would repeat again.

would this be the old "Heartbeat Cottages" property?
We stayed there when it was Heartbeat and toured the Spa during our last trip. It's beautiful but way out of my price range.
wow...we also spent years and years at Heartbeat.........we had our names in the concrete "heart" "patios"........
We had the pleasure to stay here for the last 3 days of our trip in feb 13.
It wasn't in our price range but Westender double booked so Onestop gave it to us at their cost so we said what the heck it was our 25th wedding anniversary! It was great there. They treat you like family! Loved Rosa the dog! Hung out with the owner! Great food and the best pumpkin soup yet!!
I've heard nothing but good things about the restaurant - Blue Mahoe --- food right up there with Catcha and Blue Cave Hideway
they sure poured a "shi load" of cement to cover up all the cliffs................it is a nice property on that first point of the "Cliffs".....we always liked that area........
