I need some suggestions. We are bringing a friend to Jamaica with us next year and are on separate flights. We will have our 6yo with us and our flights gets in an hour 15 minutes before his. Is there any place at the airport where we can sit and have lunch while we wait for him? We fly in on Delta.
15 mins apart......you might end up meeting in customs/immigration.
But if not, as you exit the airport (the side for private drivers and taxis), there is an outdoor restaurant called Groovy Grouper. It's a perfect place to meet.
Haha that's true but she said an Hour & 15mins...in some cases she still might meet up with them lol!

Thanks everyone, I think i've seen the place, usually in such a hurry to hop in the van and hit the road.
Customs! We were there two weeks ago and it took us an hour and a half to get to an agent.
Head outside and get patties. Time will go by quickly :)
The Groovy Grouper is expensive!!! In March the Red Stripes were $5.50 US and I recently read somewhere they are now $6.25. Jump in a cab and go get some lunch at the Pork Pit towards the end of the Hip Strip...5 minute drive tops and wonderful Jerk food. You might even negotiate with a driver to take you to lunch and then use him for the trip to Negril after you pick up your friends back at MBJ.
there are a couple places outside dem doors........
one sells patties etc and they aren't too expensive......
mi buddy was suppose to get in an hour lata once that mi was waiting for......
mi ended up getting in before him......and then had to wait an half hour for him.....lol
so you never know.......but an hour apart shouldn't be a big deal........
