Morning Greetings!
Fr. Jim says, "It's never too early to request school supplies" :)
St. Anthony's Kitchen is in need of school supplies.... pens/pencils/pencil cases/erasers/paper/ notebooks/ rulers/etc.... are always greatly appreciated!
But mostly, we are in need of back packs/school bags. We need about a dozen adult size and about 45 children size.
Thanking everyone in advance for helping support such an amazing cause!

Gail, thanks for the offer to ship some things from Miami for us. I spoke with the donor today and it is all school supplies whcih we can use for our Get Kids to School Programme--40 children will need to be outfitted for the start of the new school year. If the supplies are more than we need then we will distribute them to some local schools. The Rotary Club of Negril, collaborating with us, has great connections with local schools. Just wanted to add that the supllies that Gail is sending will have pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, etc., but will not include any "Back Packs" or "School Bags" that are needed, so I am assuming that those items are still needed.........someone correct me if I am wrong and thanks again to Gail for her generous support!
Back packs are needed , drop off anything you can, please.

We are supplying 40 children through St. Anthony's Kitchen. We also assist some children through our church. We will take as much supplies as we can get. If we would have left-overs we have connections with a number of schools (especially through our local Rotary Club with whom we collaborate) and would have no trouble distributing whatever we gather. P.S. We need shoes too! Dress shoes or sneakers (black), for boys and girls, in a variety of sizes. --Fr. Jim

I am coming down Wednesday and have a free 2nd checked bag(up to 50lbs) that I have no use for. Thus, I can bring about 50lbs of supplies. What supplies are still needed? I am in the St. Louis area, so if there is anyone in STL that wants to send supplies to Negril, just PM me.
