Dirty Bananas

Now that For Real is gone, where can we get good, affordable dirty bananas?

Not sure what is considered affordable, but I feel Xtabi has the best Dirty Bananas hands down

Best yes but far from most affordable a Dirty Banana at xtabi is over $7 US each. The upside is they make it with overproof and more alcohol than anywhere else and you are so drunk off 3 that you don't spend a whole lot until you swim and cliff jump awhile and sober up. LOL

White Sands on two for one day.

The white sands ones are affordable but when I went which was only once I had 5 without feeling any alcohol effects at all. My belly was getting full without getting any silly effects and I quit, the other person drinking them by me also had 3 with no effects. It may have just been that particular bartender or day but 1 dirty banana at Xtabi or at home with Xtabi recipe makes me "giggly" 3 makes walking straight a big task.

I've tried a lot of dirty bananas but the best I have ever had is at Seastar..they make the best mixed drinks of any place I have ever been. :)

On the beach, the best dirty bananas I've had are at the Palms.

2 for 1 at Yellow Birds happy hour is nice!

I've never had one but now my goal is to get a dirty banana in November!

Dawn at the Country & Western Bar makes a mean one with overproof- like $300-$400! Love that plac!!!

I did have some at Aqua. Don't remember the price, I think it was around $6 ish but they were better than Yellowbird and White Sands which in my experience were very weak but not as good as Xtabi. Cosmos also has a very good tasting one but very little alcohol. Negril Beach Club condos taste awful and I have had atleast 30 so it wasn't an off day kind of thing, they are very heavy alcohol, not overproof used and no chocolate $6 US convenient went right outside your door though LOL. Xtabi is still my favorite. I have had DB at many places so as you mention some I may be able to remember and compare. So far those mentioned my order is Xtabi #1, aqua #2.

Is it possible to make a Dirty Banana (or similar) with vodka and/or tia maria (anything except rum)?

I think the best I have had was at Kuyaba but last time they were not as good. The absolute worst was at Legends, no real banana just flavored syrup. YUK

The ones from Xtabi do have Tia Maria and rum cream. They just dash the overproof as a fuse they call it.
I will be trying Sea Star on my next trip for sure. Any other good ones out there better then others?
