What is the most funniest thing you have seen in Jamaica?

a couple of years ago we were visiting our ja god daughter and family near Roaring River outside Sav La Mar in the moutains and sugarcane country, i decided it would be nice to walk about 1\2 mile to the river in my crocks to swim and cool down in this so called mountain stream with my mask and snorkel, dragging everyone else with me, while snorkeling in this so called mountain stream i saw something in the river floating towards me, i grabbed it then my brother said: was that what i thought it was, i said yes, a friggin condom, probably used for drugs i said to myself,on the 25 min walk back thru the sugar cane fields, the father of our godaughter who lives near by started fires with his bic lighter to start burning the sugar cane, i asked him if this is legal, ya mon , no problem, in Canada we would be thrown in jail ,, L.O.L soon come

We were on a snorkel trip,there was a couple next to us who never snorkeled. The guy is like all confused about the flippers,the snorkel,the mask ???? Flippers go on feet,snorkel into mouth and mask on face! The boat stops,we jump in,he jumps in.... I come up and look at him and his mask is on upside down?.....The nose part is on his forehead and the top of the mask is stopping him from breathing through his nose !!!! I was peeing from laughing so hard....

That same couple who I thought were so "nerdy" were on the stage at Hedo (87) for lingerie night in undies & panties dancing it up???? WTF?

To harvest cane, it is necessary and common to set it on fire as a "pre-harvest" way to rid the cane of unwanted leaves and "trash" as it is called. Here is a link to the Yahoo Answers section:

O.K. right off the top of my thoughts about this subject. We always go to Negril, but wifey wanted to try Ocho Rios once. So, we did. It was o.k. , but not the same vibe as Negril. Anyway, we were walking on the beach in front of the Ocho Riu hotel, and my wife says "look at that"! And out in the water were two people going at it!! The gal had her head tilted to the sky, eyes closed, their bodies just a bouncing up n down, not a care in the world, totally oblivious to the beach walkers. Now, I'm sure all you folks who have stayed at Hedo, will say "that's nothin'" . Got any story to share??? Bye.

One of our first trips to Hedo,mid 80's. We decide to take out one of the little Sunfish sailboats. We have NO idea how to sail,the guy says when you turn you switch the long pole under the sail(the boom) to turn the other way.So,were in the boat trying to sail,she is in front and Im the Skipper.......I'm in the back and yell TURN so she can duck her head when the boom goes over,,,,,BUT she turns to look at me and says "what?" BANG,too late the boom hits her in the head.......We go forward I yell TURN,she looks back at me and says "what" BANG the boom hits her in the head again????Were both laughing but now the boat is going over the ropes into the nude beach part where the weird folk are(before we went nude) so now I'm scared of the weird naked folks so I jump out into the water and like swim the boat away!!!!!!!!! Rico Suave....

Going out on the Wild Thing Catamaran which used to dock at Hedo.80% of the folks are nude,heading to Ricks.We pass the Grand Lido yacht(Christina) going the opposite way and they are all wearing white suits and formal dresses.....Could not have been more opposite as were are all on that side waving and yelling to the white suits sipping champagne.......

The funniest but weirdest thing Ive seen is a couple rubbing on bleaching cream, putting on winter jackets and then sitting on the beach under an umbrella. :confused:

I took a visitor (a priest) to Rick's Café--they all insist on going to Rick's--ah, visitors, not priests. No one was watching any diving or drinking Red Stripe for that matter. All eyes were looking to sea where not far off was a huge catamaran loaded with people--all naked. But on second thought, the funniest thing clearly was Shoeshine (a local character) dressed in leather (cowboy hat, chaps, vest) and being a jockey in the annual Rotary Donkey Races. The poor announcer (a pro) could not put two works together without cracking up. --Fr. Jim

I saw a Yard Dog humping a goat in green island we could not stop laughing he would not let go he ment business...make me crack up still when I think about it.....lmaof...

We've often joked that from the looks of alot of JA dogs that this was happening

there is a "Yard Dog" poster on here.....now thats funny :)

S.AK..We were staying at Catcha one year and noticed that the other catamaran's out there weren't watching the divers either, they all seemed to be looking at the naked one from Hedo.
