Thank you never2many and all contributors to this thread. It's been so much fun to read everyone's faves on here. Most of these dishes I've had, but a lot of times it hasn't been from same restaurant, and some I have yet to try. My 5th visit is just a few weeks away and I've decided to let this thread be an inspiration for my dining choices this reach. I'm going to visit as many of these as possible (hopefully ALL of them) and order your recommendations. And of course, it'll all be included in my trip report. :)
My husband SharkHunter has a long standing joke... one day he took a photo of a plate of food I prepared and texted it to a friend of ours to tease that he was having his favorite meal. Well, oopsie, the text went to the wrong person. In fact it went to someone we don't even know. Still to this day aren't sure where that number came from or how it got saved as the person he was trying to reach. But the stranger responded, they had a good laugh, he said the dish looked great, and he wished he had some. A few days go by and I cook up another nummy meal...SharkHunter snaps a photo, and we laugh hysterically as he sends it to the stranger again. This has gone on for months now (sometimes a few weeks between photos - we don't want to be too much of a nuisance), and gives us and the unknown recipient a good laugh every time. The number is now saved as "FoodPics." So FoodPics, wherever you are, thanks for being a good sport! Now I'll subject all these boardies to plate pics on this reach. Each meal will be in honor of the poster so keep those recommendations coming. We're staying two weeks - that's 42 meals!
Ok, I love the "food pics" to the stranger. That is awesome! Great idea. Do they send y'all back pics also?
