Cost of transport from MBJ to Negril

What is the average cost o froundtrip transportation between MBJ airport to Negril? Both a tour company and a private operator? Thanks.

Tour bus drop off style runs abut $45 a person round trip, so $90 for two people.
The avg for 2 people in a private car, is 70$ each way, $140 round trip. I recommend making these arrangements before you travel, from a trusted driver on this board would be a great idea, however you could easily get a driver on arrival for the same price. Its worth the extra, if you can spare it, cause it saves you from stopping at a list of hotels dropping people off and robbing you of precious vacation time.. and you can stop any where you do want, ie mega mart or a chicken stand..

used Kingsley James in April, $100 roundtrip for 2. Nice man and dependable.

Breezy is also a good one. can pre order your beverages so can pop a cold one at a fair price as soon as in the van.

I'm a huge fan of private transfers. They get your vacation kick started instead of WAITING on a JUTA bus and stopping places you'd sooner pass. On a JUTA bus you can't wait to get to your resort. On a good private transfer it's "NO PROBLEM MON" ...just sit back and enjoy the ride, the conversation the cold beer the submaribe sandwich....... Stop for food if you want etc.. The driver is obviously very important. Make sure you tip him for any extra stops he provides.

The best advice I can give is to take advice from people on this board based on their experiences. We used Kingsley James last reach who I would highley recommend. Having said that, others listed above are almost certainly very good choices.

Highly recommend Dudley's Big Ship Tours. Or JUTA bus, believe it's only 22US one way per person.

actually the best kept secret is using Viator.com for $34.99 Roundtrip.......that is $17.50 one way.....
use them probably a half a dozen times in the last two years and have been the only passenger in the car.......
go to Viator and look for the Montego Bay airport transfers and click on Pricing.....
that will pull up Negril........not the easiest site to use......but worth the effort......
Viator uses Holiday Services in Jamaica......a trusted company in Jamaica with offices in Mobay.....
they will have paperwork for you for the return back to the airport.......
their stand in the lobby which is number 8 I believe after you exit customs......
but they tell you all that a day after you sign up for their services on the website.......
just make sure to call a day or two before you leaving Jamaica like any company.....
to make sure they pick you up.........that is if you want to be picked up......ha ha
