Ivan's
Ltu Pub
Ciao Jamaica
ivans

Any list has to include a sunset/dusk. Dinner at Kuyaba.
Ivan's, Best In The West (mostly because it's so easy AND so good), Shereta's (Beat out Norma 's this year)
Kuyaba, sunbeach...sorry only 2!
If you need a fancy place this will not fit your style but for the vibe and food, Bentley's (if he is cooking again), Fireman's Cook Pit (at Our Pastime), ditto Best of the West. I have plenty more to try since we are newbie's but those are mine. If I can mention at 4th Lobster dinner on the beach at Half Moon Beach was excellent but again if you want fancy this is not it.
Ivans and Chicken Lavish and Canoe win for us and after that there are way to many great places for food but that's our top 3.
Blue mahoe, Teddy's hideaway, Ivan's
The Parrot, Kuyaba & Shereta's (that is from April). It changes trip to trip. Last Nov was Charela's, Teddy's Hide Away & Ciao Jamaica.
Ivan's, 3 Dives, Blue Mahoe
Treehouse, Ivans and Kuyaba
Kuyaba, LTU and Pushcart.
De Bar--best jerk
Sharks--best curry dishes
LTU--best cliffside true Jamaican vibe
Sorry, just a question...is 3 dives only open later afternoon into evening or is it open for lunch also?
Seastar' s complete menu and outstanding service, Best in the West, especially for their conch and service, and the Pushcart for everything. They are all Jamacian owned and operated which is a plus. I also have to remember Ras Rody for his sweet ital and very reasonably priced pot.
Teddy's Hideaway, Canoe, Sunset After Dark (only open during high season)
Angela's, LTU & Fatty's
LTU, Eddie's De Bar, Canoe Bar
It was SO, SO good. I liked their rice and peas the best there, my friend preferred Erica's rice and peas. But the jerk chicken (we got the half) was absolutely fabulous. Super tender, juicy, and spiced perfectly - then of course, there was the crazy hot jerk sauce on the side and the yumtastic ketchup. I wish I'd gotten a bottle of JA ketchup - it's so delish!
Chill Awhile @ Idle Awhile, Chicken Lavish, and a tie between LTU and Ivan's.
Canoe
Ivan's
LTU
mi favorite ones that mi actually frequent a lot when mi don't want to cook........
Paco's(close to SamSara and on the land side and they have awesome Conch Frittersn $300J's)
SeaView aka Corner Bar($320J's for Fried Chicken meal)
Tony's Jerk Barrell($400J's for big Jerk Chicken meal)
Cool Runnings, Marko
Hungry Lion
Just Natural
LTU
honarable mention to Ivan's and Kuyaba
Just Natural
Sun Beach
Ivan's
Ossie's, although my fiance and I refer to it as the Restaurant. Only open for dinner and has half a dozen different options. No sign on the place, just Restaurant painted on the building. Being Negril newbies we were a little apprehensive to go in but ended up eating there about 3 times over the course of 10 days.

Cafe Goa
Banana pancakes are amazing. Coffee is fantastic too.

Man, it has been so long since I have been to Negril. My wife and I visited five times between 96 an 01, and we used to loooove Coconut International and Miss Brown's patty shack on the beach near the market. I know CI is still there....just hope it is still as good. We will arrive in Negril with our kids on the 28th and plan to hit it the first night! Can't beat Miss Angie's pan fried snapper.
Fine Dining:
- Ivan's.
- Kuyaba
- LTU
"Mom & Pop" Places (I love these):
- Bentley's
- 3 Dives
- Niah's Kitchen (great patties and pre-ordered Ital food).
Too many honorable mentions to list!!!!!!!!!
Peewee's
Da Bar
Canoe
I always liked Gino's @ Mariposa.
Had a decent veal picante there once.
Country Country for a carafe of coffee before Treehouse serves breakfast.
Treehouse breakfast
Ozzies jerk for lunch
Little pattie shack near Seasplash /Normas for snack (or Niahs if really hungry)
Rockhouse for dinner though there are many other favorites.
Sweet spice if able to fit in extra meal.
Teddy's Hideaway, The Swordfish, Chicken Lavish, Best of The West LTU. All booked for 6 weeks in Negril- Jan til March-on the Cliffs as always.
I forgot Niahs.
hideaway, swordfish, blue mahoe, ivans
canoe, colletta's, coconut int'l
Burger King, Ricks, Margaritaville. not sure about all places you all are talking about but these should be on everyones. list...
OR maybe not. :p Food is fast becoming one of the best things about Negril.
Had banana pancakes at Cafe Goa in April. IMO they don't come close to as good as Country Country's. A lot more of them, but were too thick and spongy, not near as much flavor.
I have lots of places yet to try but loved my cheap chicken and pork dinners at Anny's in April (old Pilot's location) $500j each, everything (except dessert) at Country Country, and Ivan's.
Honorable mention to Canoe - fantastic pineapple chill dessert!
And lol to Jimbo!
