I posted an inquiry about the Yamon catamaran back in early September on tripadvisor. I received some very helpful info. Here's the link:

Hope this helps!
it does and it did thanks so much.
had many a great cruises with Red Stripe Cat... with 11 people I'm sure Mirna will make you a deal and private if you like. I prefer a smaller boat you'll have a blast !!!

I don't have a direct answer but I have totally enjoyed the cruises in the past.
I've never hesrd of this cruise gotta look into this my next reach..Thanks!
i do the RED STRIPE cat cruise each trip, Myrna has no problem booking you a private cruise, they will take you out to a reef for snorkeling, and then cruise up the west end to the lighthouse, then stop at Ricks for more snorkeling and watch the sunset, all u can drink and a small jerk chicken dinner for under 50.00 u.s. per person for a few hours, soon come
Hey, Melody...nope, I haven't decided, although I've narrowed it down to either Myrna's or Margaritaville, if I still do a cruise. I'm now focusing more on going on Rocky's Thursday tour of YS Falls, Pelican and Black River for $100. I'm traveling solo and I don't think I want to spend money on both activities and it seems like I'd have an easier time meeting people and just "blending in" on the Thursday tour (plus I haven't been to any of these 3 places). I'd still love to do a sunset cruise, but I can't help but wonder if I would feel "lonely" since I'm guessing most people show up as couples or groups. I guess that can be true of any activity or tour...just seems like, for some reason, it would feel more lonely on a boat!! :)
Mavmaiden go with Rocky, he took us on the YS Falls/Pelican Bar trip a year ago, fun trip and he has people in both spots that take care of you. They took our pictures and guided us to great spots. I can't say enough about how great Rocky is!
Thanks for the confirmation that it's a good tour, Tanfastic! I was in Negril last December for the first time and...well...sand gravity hit me big time and the only activity I partook in was Lenbert's One Love Bus Crawl (and, wow, was that fun-- already reserved for this December!) But I figure I should at least try to do one tour to see more of the area around Negril, this time. Love your avatar, by the way...and looking forward to seeing the place, myself!
I'm traveling solo too. Never thought about feeling alone on the cruise. I'd just love to see the coastline and be on the water. And I gather they all stop for snorkeling which is pretty solo anyway, as long as they watch out for everyone. I've been to Mayfield and loved it...would be nice to see YS, but wouldn't zip line or rope swing anyway. I'm pretty ambivalent about Black River and Pelican Bar. Too bad we're not there at the same time, we could be alone together! :)
Here are a few shots from the day
