I'm currently working out for this Olympian event...Running up hills and holding my breath under water in the tub?
Nope, couldn't do it...I can barely make it through the regular mid-week pub crawl...maybe it would be better if I didn't get on the bus already "three sheets to the wind", but what fun would that be ? then out of respect for the bartenders, and to the dismay of my liver, I feel compelled to purchase a drink (or two) at each place we visit...I probably would be asleep in my Seastar buffet dinner by the time the show started...I know, I'm a lightweight :)
Sound like quite a challenge...Good luck with your training FredStripe...maybe you should add Redstripe to your training sessions, such as..."running up hills (with a Redstripe)"...and "drinking beer under water in the tub" :)
~D~
That's nothing Fred Seastar is always a warm up for the real Saturday night party!
There is Rooftop, Scrubadub, and all you can drink party at The Jungle, all of them don't even start until after Seastar clears out!
Due to my past history on the bar crawl,my wife now makes me wear a helmet and life jacket on the bus and pins a note on my chest with the address of my hotel. It says"if found retrun this body to".
Hmm,sounds like Fred and I would be real killers on a bar crawl together,I think I still have the note on my suitcase!!!
Back in 2011, we made it to the 2nd to the last bar when one of our fellow-bar-crawlers did a nose dive on the bar floor! Fell over like a tree in the forest. lol We had to cut it short and get him back to his hotel. (He was fine the next day, or at least no permanent damage.) Good Times!! If it weren't for that, I would have made it. Ended up at some bar later that night, but it's all a blur.....
If a man falls over like a tree in the bar, does it make a noise? I think I heard about that guy.
Back in 2007 - 2008 there were a couple of times that had three webcasts in one day. Boat Bar at noon, canoe from 4 to 6 and then maybe a webcast at Negril Escape from 8pm until whenever..... Tough duty, but some of us had to do it.
Challenge accepted
My wife and I were also on that 2011 pub crawl and saw him take that nose dive. Good cake at jenny's on that pub crawl. Good luck this year we will be on the Dec 11 pub crawl.
Dec 11th...One Love ? Tonyred,I will see you then.I made it through my cake re-hab.....
Jackie, PGW and I did an epic crawl.

Then to Xtabi
then to Bourbon Beach.

If it was so great,,,,then how come you remember it ??? It aint a party until the Cops show up!
I remember going, but not all the stops in order. :)
I just remember where we musta gone and whee (name removed as driver is not a legal taxi) told us he drove us
lol
Sounds like a marathon for professionals only. training may be required...
Marathon completed. No problem. We had a full bus (not packed, just right) and all the pubs on the tour this time were great! No one got hurt, but then again, no one ate a whole "Jenny's Cake". One of the lovely Jamaican girls that works at Jenny's was keeping an eye on us, wouldn't let me eat the whole thing. lol And everyone was careful at Xtabi (the caves can be slippery after a few drinks). Lambert was a blast (make sure he points out all his baby-mamas along the way)! Lots of bus dancing. Super cool fun group! Thank you sir for another great crawl.
