Family Accomodation Ideas??
Hi All,
Planning vaca to 7 mile beach area in April. Me, wife, twin 16 year old girls and 14 year old son. AI too much $$, any ideas for non-AI places to stay. Have looked at Crystal Waters...looks ok and they have a 2 bdrm available. How does the food work there? Can anyone give me an idea of the costs for meals that they prepare for you at CW? What about security? thx all. RESPECT
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
You should check Treehouse. They have suites with big bedroom, 2 trundle beds and a sofa, 2 baths, kitchen. Full breakfast buffet is included also. The vibe is nice there, great staff. Can't say enough good things about it..its perfect:)
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
hopefully Poolguywindor will answer soon. He stays there often with teenage kids. The cook looks like she makes great food for his family

Read glowing reviews for Crystal Waters. You could do a forum search for more details. PGW is an expert, believe he's been staying there with his family for many years.

Crystal Waters is AWESOME!
If you have the opportunity to stay there, and is in your range, go for it!
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
Whatever you decide; there are plenty of food options in Negril. There's a Burger King for the teens if they're not adventurous enough to try Pattys, Roadside Chicken or boil corn.
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
Did you check out Rondel village, they have 1, 2 or 3 bedroom villas with full kitchen. Great staff.
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
I would look at Nirvana and Coco La Palm as well.
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
I also would look at Nirvana, I have stayed there and it has a great location, security, family cabins and plenty of close and affordable eating and drinking establishments along with an awesome beach.
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
I also highly recommend Treehouse. Another good option would be a 2 bedroom cabin at Yellow Bird. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a kitchen and dining room and also a sitting room. It's right on the beach and the staff is great.
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
You can't do better than Crystal Waters our home for 2 months every year.A wonderful cook comes with the price of the rooms.
Breakfast lunch and dinner. You buy the food so it depends on what you want to eat.Security is great .Owner lives on premises which is a big plus.
This will be our 30 th year as this is where we had our honeymoon! Also great location on the beach. The cook makes it affordable when you have hungry teens

Farmer knows best! Crystal Waters is great! Will be there for two weeks in march again!
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
OK - close to booking TreeHouse. 2 BDRM with a loft? Anyone seen it? The last building closest to Country Country. Any opinions of that spot at the resort?
thx all!
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
Yes Treehouse 2 bedroom with a loft is big. They actually have two units like that full kitchens, 3 baths in the back two bedroom and ZI think 2 bathrooms in K. Very nice and recently remodeled.
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
Nirvana will take care of everything you need......www.nirvananegril.com
Re: Family Accomodation Ideas??
Crystal Waters is nice in that they will cook all meals for you if you want, and I believe they will do the shopping for you. At Nirvana (where we usually stay), it's one meal a day and you get the food. You can pay for more meal service at Nirvana, but it can be difficult since the same crew has to clean the rooms.
I think the beach and grounds are much nicer at Nirvana, lots of shade trees whereas CW only has palapas for shade.
We tried to get in CW for our trip in Jan, but it's fully booked.

Nice to know Gail. If it had no TV at all, it's still a great place to stay. See you in late January.
