Kind of a sad day...

I started getting that "itch" today. That yearning to return to my "Happy Place" that is Jamaica.

Then I realized why. 365 days ago today, I was stepping out the doors of MBJ and getting that first waft of that oh so familiar air. Feeling that wonderful blast of heat and humidity that tells me that I'm back "home". One full year ago today.

Then I look at my countdown. 759 more days until my next scheduled reach. SIGH!

Oh well, I guess it could be worse. I could have no countdown at all.

Hmm...I wonder what Negrilonestop.com is looking like? Do I really have to wait another 759 days?

Johio......I've got that itch too. Might have something to do with the frosty flakes (NOT cereal!) that covered my car last night? I've been online searching fares today! Gimmee balmy breezes over wind chills anyday!!!!!!!!!

Well... I had a trip scheduled for late April. I couldnt wait, so I scheduled one for January using the miles I got on my card for scheduling the other one. :D

Who wants to wait 7-5-9 days?! I can't even count that high......especially, backward?!

I booked so far in advance for my 20th wedding anniversary. My countdown started at 906, so we are making progress. We decided to put off Jamaica awhile in lieu of high school and college tuition. I made an exception for or anniversary. But if the price is right, who knows. Maybe my wife will let me do another solo reach like she did last year. One never knows. Life is short. I might just have to pull that trigger.

Hey, nothing wrong with Cincy, lol - except it's cold and we got our first little bit of snow today. OK, Jamaica sounds sooooo much better right about now. A year is too long, let alone another 700+ days. Book it! :)

Wow! Such a long time...

I pulled the trigger tonight and booked my flights for next September/October reach. Looks like we are doing it for 17 days this trip, only problem I have is telling Mrs. DD that I booked for this length, she is gonna kill me but HELL YA!!!

Feeling just slightly better today. The ticker moved another notch closer.

Although I did notice that when I got to work this morning it was 62 degrees F warmer in Negril than it was here. I keep both the local weather and Negril weather widgets on my computer's desktop.
