Being sober on a bus is . . .
. . . like, totally different than being drunk on a bus.
Ozzy Osbourne
Does anyone have a good Love Bus story?
I just read Cherrynorth's and I thought I could smell the sunscreen.
We have six month count-down and a good bus story will be as close as we can get until May.

Jumped on with a group from Hedo when they stopped at Seastar. Sorry, but the rest won't pass the censors........

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
Euphemisms people, or else it's just a tease (hoho!).
Booger: A group from Hedo? Maybe that couldn't even be euphemized past the censors. Drat!
Lola: Good news indeed, I'm confident our paths will cross.
Big Shiny: You make a mean Caucasian, Jackie!
Sazo: I guess in the course of six months that's not too long to wait - bon voyage

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
We were on the same trip that Booger jumped on. I'll try to tell the story edited enough so it won't get deleted.
I had booked the bus for my wife and I and our two girls, ages 18 and 22.
The bus pulled up and Lembert got out, took one look at us and said, are you sure it's ok, I've got a bunch of people from Hedo on there. I said, they are both over 18, it should be ok, without really thinking it through.
The bus was totally packed, but they made some room for us near the front. We were seated near another couple, who as it turned out, were the only other ones not from Hedo.
The Hedo folks were already pretty lit, but not doing anything real inappropriate, at least not then. Mostly an older crowd, very friendly.
We got to the first stop and had a drink. I chatted with Lembert who told me some sketchy stuff that was going on before we got on.
Second stop, some of the women started taking their tops off and taking pictures.
A stop later, while we were getting back on the bus, my wife noticed some folks that were already on the bus were engaged in some activities that should have remained at Hedo.
Once this started going on, Lembert was very apologetic and made sure we sat up front where we could avoid seeing things that couldn't be unseen.
We considered getting off the bus at that point, but the other couple begged us to not leave us alone with them.
We ran into Booger and his gang at Seastar and a few of them joined us to go to another bar for sunset. We realized we knew each other from this website.
We then decided to get dropped off at DeBar for dinner and as it turned out, Booger and a few others ended up there as well and we all had dinner together. Funny how things tend to turn out in Negril.
I had some contact with the other couple through Tripadvisor and she told me it got "way worse" after we left.
Lembert figured out that it was a bad idea to mix the lifestyle folks with us regular people, so I doubt this experience would happen again.
What a crazy evening!
Here's a report from the perspective of others that joined us at Seastar that day:http://negril.com/forum/showthread.p...t=swiss+family

LoL. This is the real deal, the other version is what months of therapy have helped to erase what was burned into my eyes. Guiryguy wrote this up so well that I had to read it twice to make everyone out.

Sounds good!. We leave on weds and arrive on Thursday for 2 weeks!. Glad you're not a "yoga type" couldn't be swapping the booze for broccoli smoothies or something healthy haha
-
Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
Broccoli smoothies? :p Not this trip.
Congrats on the upcoming nuptials- my sister got married in Negril 10 years ago and that's what started me going there almost every year
See you on the 4th.

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
I did Hedo 5 times in the 90's.....I get the freedom, sex thing....But UMM I do not need to show my junk to others who don't want to see it since I'm not at Hedo and I don't need to do any sex in front of strangers...Tacky if you ask me.....

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
I'm very open minded, but I don't think a trip to Hedo is ever gonna be in my future. Some things are just better left to the imagination. :p

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
Hubby and I did a Love Bus trip in Oct with a group from Hedo. Lembert did forewarn us but we said how bad can they be? Ha! One guy in the group had a quart jar of moonshine. How on earth did he get that on the plane? Anyhow, needless to say, most of the group were out of their heads from the moonshine and the bar drinks. A couple of women jumped nude in the water at Xtabia and suffered some nasty sea urchin stings on their foot and legs. They were so wasted they didn’t even feel it. When we got to Negril Escape, several from the group were jumping from the lighthouse tower. I was so afraid someone was going to break their neck. No one got hurt but I’m sure they were feeling pretty sore and banged up the next day. On the ride home, several of the women removed their tops while dancing. Hubby and I thought it was pretty funny.

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
This is funny! Boogers vague recollections are both hilarious and par for the course. Rob watched the whole thing bumble away right in front of him. Probably shaking his head, and rightly so.
Regarding bus stories, I don't think I've had a reach that didn't involve some bus debauchery... :)

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
Guirigay,
Can you post a hyperlink your Hedo bus story.
Our lake froze over this weekend and I desperately need a good tropical story.
Thanks!

We have been on the pub crawl 3 times and we stay at Hedo. I have never shown my junk to others not have I had sex in front of strangers.
Don't classify everyone by the actions of a few idiots.
Respect

I have confused several with my replies... lol
Guirigay version- hilarious and helped me laugh about it after the fact. I'm pretty laid back and once Bucking Bronco started gloating I was ready to bounce.
SAeyedoc- feel bad for this man as he and his family are great people and he had his two daughters with him. That had to have felt weird for him.
Booger- it's yet another funny moment to reflect on and somehow convince me to book yet again. Next time I get on the bus I'm yelling out to Bucking Bronco to see if he is on. That reminds me..... Anyone here ever camp in Yosemite and yell Elmer at night?

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
Guirigay,
Just finished the first story you provided - very tasty stuff mi brudder.
There are some literary flourishes in that trip report that are off the charts.
Very well done and much appreciated by a guy sitting in below freezing temperatures not far from the frozen tundra of Frostbite Falls.

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
When the Wild Thing was going out of Hedo and I was staying there I went nude with others and some were from other places and had suits on.....No Biggie......No sex stuff,,,it was fun....The best part was that when I was in front of the catamaran on the net I could just,,,,ya know pee?

Re: Being sober on a bus is . . .
