We did it backwards. Named her hooligan during world cup, then found the music. Enjoy your pup!
After all the discussion my wife and I had, she decided on Dexter. WTH? I guess there could be somebody somewhere on the island of Jamaica named Dexter. *sigh*
Seriously, we had an easier time picking our the names of our three kids!
Thanks for the help. I love posing these kinds of questions to the boardies. So many friends I haven't met yet!
This is "Reggae" our Blue Pit....he loves his Rasta collar

I guess Dexter will have to be satisfied with rasta accessories! Good looking dog!
Thanks!
And if it helps I can see Dexter being a Jamaican name
Rasta and jamaican accessories will work too. Reggae (and his sister, Justice) love their collars and leashes!
cute pictures..enjoy your new baby ...cute rasta collar
We have a Newfoundland named Nina / and a Lab/Pit mix named Marley. Both are rescue doggies. Nina had an ad in the paper stating last week before going to the pound due to a divorce, and Marley was literally in the stick with the noose around his neck fighting being put in a animal control truck outside my work as I was leaving. Luckily the officer listened to me and let him loose into the back seat of my pickup. Nina has been with us nearly 7 years and Marley 3 years. both dogs went thru the flood with us that destroyed our house in the country and despite the mess and danger never quit wagging their tails and missed a canine smile during our move to the city. Both still get sad when they see the suit cases come out and we pack for each trip. They know the drill but the return home and pickup from the vet is priceless. We'd be lost w/out them and I do believe we need them more than they need us?!

Dexter? Isn't that from an old Eddie Murphy routine about the islands? Lol!
Did you ever do the party trick where you make your 1st name the name of your 1st pet then your last name is the street you lived on? I was Tippy Howard.
