Carey Wallace Back To School fund 2011, Jamaica

I ran across this on the Negri Boardies FB page - thought I would post on this forum, too.
I know lots of boardies like to bring down school supplies.
With school getting ready to start in Jamaica, here is a way to donate to the school children even if we can't be there.

I know there are lots of online scams, these days.
But this has all of Carey's contact info, and a personal video appeal from him - so I am convinced is authentic. I would not have donated, nor posted here, if I did not.
Rob or Lisa - or someone in Negri now - can you pls confirm with Carey that it is legit, to alleviate anyone's concerns, and report back? TIA.

Thanks Rob. To be clear, I was not suspecting Carey - we all know what he does for the community.
My concern was some scammer was taking advantage of Carey's good reputation and had put up a website Carey was not aware of.
Glad to know that is not the case.

I've exchanged emails with Carey and made a donation from our Lodge.

Please help with this cause. It's way more important than spending money on a bunch of Rum Punch or Dirty Bananas!

In fact, if everyone on this board sent the cost on one dirty banana they'd have a lot of money for the kids!
