In November 2008 a tropical storm came through and did a lot of damage. We were staying at Xtabi and photographing a lot of the storm. While we were at the cliffs edge under cover at Xtabi we literally saw the huge rock that people lay on break in half and drop into the water. I have attached a photo below.

My question......I recently saw some photos of Xtabi and it appeared that the rock was back in place whole again. Like they pulled it up out of the water and reattached it somehow. Does anyone know if this actually happened? If so how?
