Walking Guide to the West End

In going over my earlier notes I see I was off a bit on a couple times, this next list should fix that.
All the times in this list are based on time from Catcha Falling Star but you could reverse that and start from the Corner Bar where my list ends.
All you really need to do to make it non-Catcha-centric is just subtract the times between the points you're interested in i.e. it's 40 min. from Catcha to Mi Yard and 43 minutes from Catcha to Canoe so from Mi Yard it's a three minute walk to Canoe.
    Does that make sense?

From Catcha (although I never timed it, Sea Star is between 5-10 minutes from Catcha)

    Ahh Bea's 2 minutes
    Banmark cambio 7
    Archway Pizza 9.5
    De Bar 13
    Sips and Bites 14
    Rock House 15 (main entrance)
    Pressley's "
    Push Cart 17
    Three Dives 21
    Xtabi 22
    Samsara 27
    April Fresh Laundry 28
    No Limit Bar 30
    Home sweet etc. 33
    Jenny's Restaurant 36
    Chicken Lav 39
    Mi Yard 40
    Canoe 43
    Sun Island 44
    Corner Bar 55

Even though I've made jokes about drinking alcoholic beverages to re-hydrate I just want to make sure you understand that when we walked on anything over a mile (Three Dives for example) we had a back pack with bottled "watas" in it.
Seriously, most of us don't live full time in the tropics, if you decide to try walking around Negril pack some water or stop off every so often and re-hydrate with the real stuff - water.
De-hydration cause cramps at best and at worst it can literally knock you down, don't ruin your vacay.
That rug really tied the room together.

If you're unfamiliar with the Corner Bar it is about 2 blocks west/south of the roundabout.
The Corner Bar is a nick-name for the Sea View Sports Bar and Grill.

Really enjoying your report! Love the Corner Bar! Some great jerk chicken, fish and other Jamaican dishes at a good price. Plus, always full of locals which is a great sign IMHO. Interesting place too! To change it up, just cross the road and sit over by the wata and eat....just take care in crossing.
    Keep the reports coming!!

    More like 20 I'd say.
