I always love your reports Smith, but this one was one of the best. That water & falls looks so refreshing. It would be fun to follow you just one day on your adventures....although I doubt that we could keep up with you...LOL!! Waiting for more!

Smith, great videos! After the bath at the waterfall, you have to bee 100% Fresh! In one video, you walk by a house, saying it could be for rent for $75, BUT "too lonely" What does that mean, when a Jamaican friend tells you it's too lonely?

and query folks,
seek info,
i ALL-ways '.consider the source.',
when evaluating info/guidance/etc.

the '.source's.' motivations are important, too

nevertheless,
in this house-rental instance,
the house/area was described as '.lonely.' by SEVERAL folks,
...folks who's judgement & feedback i give great-weight

at the time (about 5+ years ago),
and NOW,
i knew/KNOW i'm NOT-ready for that house/location

an aside:>> about Jamaican use of language::::>> if dem-SAY::>> '..it lonely..', that's one thing.... IF dem-SAY::>> '..it's TOO-lonely..", then that takes it up a notch ----more-lonely .... if dem-SAY:::>> "..it's lonely-lonely.." (i.e., that's 2-lonely-s), then it's really-really isolated.

all the-folks who told me about the place,
paused a few-seconds,
before they answer-ed me

you could *hear* the wheels churn-ing in dem heads/brains

i could tell they were looking out for my welfare,
but wouldn't/couldn't go into a lot of details,
so they just said:::>> "...it's too lonely.."

i passed-up on the *opportunity*,
even though the price was VERY-VERY attractive

GET-OUT & explore explore explore
..explore Jamaica..!!..

things, like that likkle-waterfall, and swiming hole are EVERY-where around that island

actually,
it was a woman,
who gave me the price

i saw the then-empty house,
and inquire-ed with the people *next-door*, down the lane

they/she had to call & check with the owner,
and gave me the price 'bout 2-3 days later,
when i passed-by, on my way to do some laundry

had to go-to-river/fall for laundry,
'cause we had no water
'twas locked-off,
and the 2 water-barrels were empty
:-(

at the time,
we didn't have the big-big water tank
