We actually took a tour of Kaisers, but its probably been about 5 yrs or maybe longer. We too were staying at Xtabi and walked past Kaisers daily. We had the "watchman" who also doubled as a homemade jewelry salesman show us around. Its a neat place. The tile work alone is just crazy. Its everywhere and its NOT cheap tilework either. Really cool bar area that could definintely hosts some great live music. The rooms were a bit strange. The layout was just odd and there are not very many rooms. Maybe 10-15 tops. All very close together, but seemed to have more space than say your avg size room at Samsara or Garden Side Xtabi. The pool was on a 2nd level in the middle of the rooms. It was hardly a pool more like a wading area, but you could cool off.

We were told we could stay the night as no one was staying there and we almost did it until as we were walking out, towards the bar area we got a very strange vibe from some guys sitting there. It wasn't even really a stocked bar just a bottle of white rum they were drinking. I believe go with your FIRST instinct and so we Thanked him, probably had to tip him (memory fuzzy) and headed home to Xtabi.

I think it has great potential, but needs a new owner! The stories I've heard about the owner thru the years are stuff of movies!

One year in 1997 or 8,,,not sure...Xtabi was fully booked and one of the regular gals stayed next door at Kaisers. We were in cottage #1 and she was right beside us in the room closest to the wall ( which kind of towered over our cottage). She and her friends had the plunge pool to themselves and they loved it. They actually stayed in the room that overlooked Just Natural. Since then in the past couple of years, we toured through the place with 'Charlie' and have seen people come and go now and then...but few and far between.
