I refuse to cheer unless I don't feel 'the bump'. Short runway; heavy on the brakes. Only had one frightening landing in a nasty thunderstorm about 10 years ago. Lights kept going on and off in the plane, lightning outside, heavy rain, gusty winds and turbulent bobs and dips! But when the aircraft landed we all cheered rather loudly.
