Once u go u knowRosalie
Someone will chime in with more exact directions that I can provide, but it is difficult to spot. We walked by three times because it is not on the beach or on the road, but in between. As I recall if you are down by Waves or the new Woodstock you are in the area.
look for Merrill's 2, you'll find drifters right next door
You will find it on the same lane as One Mile Cook Shop. It's well marked from the street side.
On the beach side it's right next to Mama Flo's.
Peace, Todd & Cher
Watch for Cheap Tony on the beach up behind there.
My group went yesterday. Had a fabulous time, music was excellent.
There is one annoying part . . .
They pass the hat way too often, for bar staff, wait staff and for musicians.
Why not just charge a flat entrance fee? I'd prefer that
You don't have to give every time, or at all... or just give what you would over a series of "hat passes", like 2 bucks at a time for a total of ten.
I always throw in a few dollars each pass, and maybe a little more if it's a guest singer I really like. Sometimes I wait until the end and put in 10 bucks. I've seen the money bucket poured directly into a backpack before, which make me think the money goes right to the band.
I definitely see your point of view, though.
I'm with Jitterbug on this, feels like you are at church, which I avoid except for weddings and funerals. I'm not sure what the draw is for some of you with this place, however I will make another stop next visit to check it out again and see if my attitude changes.
