    I found Drifters

Last time I walked the beach I saw a sign that said "Drifters"

But I was on my way someplace else.
With the help of this board, I found it this trip.

It is "off" the beach. Mid-way between beach and road.
I walked up and the place was jumping.
    I don't know the MC/Singer's name,
but he was jamming on the Microphone.

He has a large White spot of hair in the front of a full head of
    dark brown hair.

The Band was playing behind him on stage.
There is a round bar with seats and an area full of tables that seat like 5-6.

Locals and Tourist all mixed together.

    I went twice.
1st time I had a seat at the bar.

I left, went to pick up someone, but they called and cancelled.

I went back and notice a Food place right off the beach before you get
to the Bar and Dance area and stage.

There were tables next to the food place too.

I had a small Brown stew chicken for about 250-300J

The band and singer played some regular standards
and they had the crowd jumping.
Folks up out of their seats on the dance floor
    shakin what they got.

    Bathrooms were close by,
pass the Bar if you face the road.

Beers were cold, music was fine.

Nice thing is that you can take a few steps away from the crowd and get a meal,
then go back to the jamming music.

I love that little local cook shop near Drifters.......can anyone help me with the name. May be "Miss Jeans" but I can't recall. Hit every trip for an inexpensive locals place.

That is Luddy Sams, one of the members of the Drifters, the Doo Wop/R&B/Soul group. Hence the name of his bar.
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. KJV Psalm 68:4
