The Overtakers are the best mento band I've ever heard. Unfortunately, I've never seen them in Jamaica. This notice is 55 days too soon. Bring 'em back in February! Please!

We're back home just in time for the nor'easter! The highlight of our trip was dinner and the 1st set of the Overtakers at Canoe! What a joyful noise they make. Don't miss the opportunity to experience one of the great Mento bands currently playing. Grab a CD and show some respect! You won't regret it.
We saw them in Trumansburg, NY at a pre-Grassroots Festival show at the Rongovian Embassy and then at the fester. They remembered their gig as one of their favs. Soooo much fun to see them perform at Canoe. Don't miss the opportunity to catch them in Negril! --Marblehead

The Overtakers are there on Mondays too?
Negrilonestop says they're at Canoe Sundays and Wednesdays.
It is not so much "too" as the wrong day. The Overtakers play at Canoe on Mondays and now Wednesdays.
I've been up on Zion Hill since last Monday. The bedroom addition will done tomorrow (Slide show to soon come)
