I dont know if I'd be considered a "boardie".. Im a bit of an introvert and haven't introduced myself to anyone in any of my over a dozen trips (even tho I've seen Rob and Lisa and others i recognize from here on many occasions) But i have been on here almost daily for over 10 years.. I absolutely believe that what I learned on here helped stoke my love of Negril. I had a whole list of "must dos" for my second trip from reading Smiths posts. . I miss him..
( my year joined and number of posts dont show my long time love of negril.com.. I think when board was changed I lost past standing.)

I can imagine that there are hoards of "lurkers" keeping an eye out for the posts concerning things such as the best place to have lunch, the best day trip excursions, where to go to see the sunset, cheapest place to buy beer etc.... etc.... . They may not join and post questions but they lurk and search out answers.
