Yeah, mon! We were just up in Bar Harbor a couple weeks ago. The lobsters were huge and delicious! I paid $20 for a huge lobster dinner with mashed potatoes.

Which gives me a great idea for a new Negril menu item: Jamaican Lobster Roll! Chilled lobster on cocoa bread. Could be a great beach snack. Whaddaya think?

Mike_D, Great idea and I am surprised that no one has had that on their menu. It would be a great "Beach Vendor" specialty too, a person with a cooler filled with lobster rolls, reasonably priced working the beach. It would be a great "munchy" item.

Come up with your best recipe for lobster salad (make it simple) and next trip down connect with a lobster fisherman for a deal on just caught lobsters, find a kitchen to work out of and a bakery for coco breads. If you can keep the price reasonable I think you got a hit.

Glad to hear you were in Bar Harbor recently, a very nice town!!

In Duluth MN there is a place called Dreamland Supper Club, they have a Australian Lobster tail ranging from 16oz and up. Had one last Valentines Day that was 22oz for $46. Just a hair over $2 an ounce and it was fantastic. I'm surprised to hear 3 Dives price, definitely gone down since 2015, we had a hard time that winter finding a deal under $28 US.

Thank you for the website, awesome!!!

Does anyone know of a fisherman who will sell live lobster so I can cook it myself? Hoping this might be cheaper. Also, is the guy with the heated stainless steel box still selling them on the beach for $10 a pop? I thought this was a great deal.

Just a lobster lover looking for lobster love : )

I've found very few menu items that don't get this claim to fame at one point or another during my trips
