That's a brutal price for a 24 pk.
At btwn 4-5000j I may aswell bring from home.
I expect to be screwed for booze in Canada but not abroad.

Market next to Pure Garden has always been our cheapest find. They use a scanner do won't give you "tourist" price. I think it was 3800J last trip which was last summer. I know it used to be 3600J a few years ago, but did go up a bit. That was for a cardboard box, you can get cold by the case as well, just ask.
The lowest price we've seen for a case of 24 is in our neighbourhood shop outside of Negril for 3300J (appox. $35CA or $27US) inc. tax & dep.
But, you're still averaging around 4000J in Negril and many other locations around Jamaica.
Weeboy...I'm not sure where you saw a case at 5000J...I've never seen it that high.
And, no offence to anyone...but I'm really not going to run around while on vacation trying to pay $5 less for a case of beer. Though, I don't enjoy paying 500-600J for a single beer in Kingston...lol.

I just stopped by the Chinaman shop and they are also j$3300 per case. That seems to be the "rock bottom" price at all the cheapest stores, and that is for a full case. Six and twelve's are more expensive for Red Stripe.
On a side note, j$250 seems to be the lowest price on the beach this year for a Red Stripe.
Negril.com - For the vacation that never ends!
250 JA at sunnyside
Dru's also had $2US
