Ocean Edge

It's been a while since we've been to Negril (13 years). What happened to Ocean Edge on the cliffs? We have booked Treehouse and Home Sweet Home but just changed our flight to arrive a day earlier. Looking to some place on a beach to stay. Open to area outside of Negril.

Loved Oceans Edge when staying there back for the first time in 1996 and the following initial trips, was like having your own home on the cliffs and just a great break in to the Negril vibe. Have stayed at Home sweet home and was overall positive , think you will like it. We stayed at Rooms on the Beach (7 mile beach) last year and it had a lot going for it..nice rooms.. and good location, enjoy your vacation ..

Forgot to mention Oceans Edge appears to be not in operation as a lodging option for what seems like at least a decade to me, although still intact..cheers

we have stayed at Home Sweet Home before but it will be our first time at Treehouse. We are looking for recommendations for a place the first night maybe outside of Negril somewhere with a nice beach.

You might want to try the 3 Dives Seaview cottages for a similar style to Ocean Edge...Tingalaya's and Jackie's on the Reef might also compare slightly.
For a property with a beach outside of Negril...Half Moon Beach would work for a night.
