We’ve only stayed at Charela of the two. Wonderful place to stay. More of a European feel. Great beach, excellent staff and food!

Stayed at both.....Charela is a bit "classier"...very well run; Nirvana is also excellent....room selection is important IMHO....
Never stayed at Nirvana. We stayed at Charela Inn last November and loved it. We had the suite right over the outdoor dining area. We watched the shows from our balcony. We would stay there again.

We just returned from Nirvana Saturday, and we loved it. I have not stayed at Charela, but we ate at the restaurant (Le Vendome ) and we loved it. Nirvana has a great beach, and a real family feel to it. our room was a little rustic, but very clean, and nicely appointed. feel free to ask us any questions.
Have been coming to Negril for more than 40 years and stayed in many different places along the beach. From the Tee Water in 1974 to Beaches and now Charela.
Charela is our favorite now. They offer a clean and safe room and the best beach situation in Negril. A large beach with plenty of shade. The beach area is large enough to allow you to sit far enough away from the shore so no one can bother you if thats what you want.
Haven't found anything that beats the Owner's Villa at Nirvana.
We are moving into the Owners Villa on Sunday for 2 weeks! It’s our 10th anniversary treat. Can’t wait,
