Alfred has added a fence in front of the bar. It is to stop higglers from bothering the diners but it makes taking pictures a bit difficult.

What stereo? The fence doesn't go all the way across his property. It is only where the tables are on the beach. The speakers etc are on the opposite side by the stage.
