My search continues .... Any comments on Donaldson's Inn? Specifically wondering about honeymoon suites. Anyone have pictures? Thanks.

It's been there forever. I've always wondered what it's like to stay there too. Awesome location and beach frontage. Hope you get some feedback.

Thanks Lisa. The view from room is fabulous, right spot on the beach - but I worry that it is too small a room and we will be on top of each other if we stay two week. I have friend there now who will try to get in to see it as well.

I don't know what your dates are, Mrs. Wilson, but I booked Yard Beach house for 10 days in April at $90/night. Also a great location.

Hi Maryann - we are early April. (first two weeks). Was this for upstairs suite, or regular room, ground floor? I am in process of negotiating now. Good for you - that is great price, even for single room.

Reservation says "deluxe 1 bedroom garden view." Have never stayed there but thought the rate was excellent for the location.

Its a regular room - but very nice. Charming. Gardens are wonderful. This will be like our 15th time there. But every time they go under new management/ownership I struggle to figure out if it's still the best place for us. It is. Great spot on beach. Please post here about your stay since it's coming soon. I would love to hear what you think.

The little place next door is run by Johnny and Leo - they have good patties and other food. Lots of choices around there. And I hear fantastic things about restaurant at Skylark, which is just a few properties north.

Oops I thought you were going in February. I have not quite pulled the trigger, but not just putting the rest of the pieces together. I will post report from there, happy to.
