The article provides some very astute observations. Any additional mega devolpments in Hanover can only be to the detriment of Negril. Where would marketing and infrastructure dollars go? The term “New” Negril should never be allowed.
" We're from the government, and we're here to help you" Is what this sounds like. High rise, and mega developments will ruin the area as far as I am concerned. I am just a tourist, but it seems that reasonable development, and putting money into infrastructure, and providing good jobs for the people who live here is the best way to promote property values, and reduce crime. If I want to visit a big a$$ hotel I will go to Mexico, or the Dominican.
