Never pack the following in your checked luggage:
1. Medication
2. Jewelry
3. Electronics of any kind
The thieves are everywhere, particularly the TSA folks in the US.

We purchased this a few years ago and love it - we even use it at home on those rare occasions when we need to have something secured well!
