Funny you should mention "lots and lots of sadness" today.

Tuesday and Wednesday there was a new vibe, a new feel sweeping Negril. Even behind masks you could tell people were smiling more. The talk was more upbeat! And even the pace people were walking had a little more excitement to it!

With the easing of the curfew and the bars reopening, a new sense of hope has been taking over. The anticipation of tourism starting back up soon has given everyone a new sense of things will be better very soon!

It was noticeable to everyone in town we have been talking with, except for a few stranded tourists who are getting a wicked case of island fever. They are concentrating on getting home!

Our visitors many times would not believe that you can get tired of being in paradise (The rock)

The same goes for beautiful sunny weather day after day with no rain. You beg for a nice rainy day.

Rob, do you have any fresh pictures of the progress on the new HiLo? We were there in Feb and things were moving at a pretty good pace. Bob
