CDC ratings are not very discriminating - most places are Level 3 now, Canada, Mexico, UK, Italy, etc. If CDC rated US it would probably be Level 3. So it's not really about Jamaica - it's about avoiding non-essential travel.
Literally my favorite spot in all of Jamaica if you would have shot just a little more to the left so I could see all of my tree. LOL.
