As our valued partner, we are excited to advise you that this year's ReggaeMarathon will be a virtual event.
Following consultation with our Negril-based partner, The Negril Chapter ofthe JHTA, it was decided that in view of the pandemic which has swept theworld, it would be in the interest of our global and local participants tocancel the physical staging of the event in 2020.
Indeed, COVID-19 has altered the "runscape" around the world and Jamaica isno exception. Considering the negative impact the pandemic has had onphysical interaction, and in view of the large number of runners/walkers whousually participate in the annual event in Negril, the consensus was thatour usual run/walk would be postponed until 2021.
We appreciate your continued support of the event and look forward to yourendorsement and partnership of this year's innovative approach.
