It doesn't mention visiting restaurants or split stay vacations though......

Let's wait and see what the actual rules are, the website hasn't been updated yet... just the flow chart.

Just as when they set the "stay on property" order, the first place they mentioned it was on the flow chart. It took two days for the entire website to be modified.

We should be seeing the list of approved attractions that was once available again. Then of course the wording on all the necessary spots.

Changing a single graphic is easier than making all the changes to the site at once.

So according to the flow chart, if you are not from a high risk state, a pre covid uploaded test is no longer a requirement for entry?

    According to the website...Visitjamaica.com
The entire US is considered "High Risk" . So, no matter which state you live in you are considered "high risk"

Rob does a great job putting the info on here, but everyone should be reading the protocols at Visitjamaica.com for themselves. There is a great deal of info there...
Additionally, since the information changes often, I suggest that you visit the website often.

Realize this has probably been answered elsewhere but a couple questions please .
What is involved in the health assessment upon arrival?
If there is a positive result from the health assessment what happens?
If all is good with the assessment are you permitted to travel to buy groceries ?
    Thanks

This is from the VisitJamaica site:

The pre-testing requirement described above is applicable to persons in this category if they are residents of locations designated as high risk by the Jamaican health authorities. The current list of high risk locations include the countries of Brazil, Dominican Republic, Mexico and United States of America (USA). Note that based on health screening and risk assessment on arrival, persons may still be required to be tested at the airport or designated facility, if, for example, they are exhibiting symptoms or belong to a high risk group despite presenting a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate. In this case, they would await their test result in their hotel room.

If the test is negative, they would leave the confines of their hotel room and continue their stay in Jamaica under the “Stay in Resilient Corridor” control measure.

If the result of the test is positive, they would be isolated either at the hotel/resort or in a government facility as determined by the health authorities.

Persons not required to be tested on arrival will be allowed to go to their hotel/resort under the “Stay in Resilient Corridor” measure.
