    Vaccines and entering Jamaica

Hi I appreciate you keeping us informed on changes in the rules dealing with travel and the pandemic.
As vaccines become more available here in the States have there (or will there be any) changes in the protocols for tourists and the entry process? Will providing documentation of vaccination be an alternative to testing ?

Jamaica will be following international protocols. At this point in the vaccine information (which seems to be ever changing) you can still catch Covid and test positive. As of today, Jamaica is only accepting truly negative tests. But of course this is subject to change as it is a "fluid" situation.

Please remember, despite being vaccinated, still need to follow all the “rules”, meaning masking and social distancing and everything else!
