Huhhhh, how does this affect us getting from sangster to Negril. We come in Saturday and not expected to arrive in Negril till 4:00 - 4:30ish. We have no restaurant for dinner at our place. Probably pick something up in MoBay, but that makes Negril arrival a bit later. Ummmmm????

Leaving the airport & heading to Negril won't be a problem...keep your printed itineraries with you for the driver in the event you're stopped.

I don't know where you're staying...but you can (as you said) pick up food in Montego Bay or anywhere along the way into Negril.
Another option is to have a restaurant in Negril deliver food...maybe your hotel can help arrange this?
Don't forget about snacks & beverages for the evening...either pick those up enroute to your hotel or even easier...ask your driver to grab you a few items prior to your arrival.

Thanks for the reassurances Lisa. It will help talk the wife and sister in law off the ledge. I was guessing transfer to Negril wouldn't be an issue. We'll do our shopping in MoBay right away. And, don't you worry, we won't forget the evening beverages! Respect, Kelly

If you're staying on the beach restaurants associated with hotels will be open until 8:00 during lockdown. If you plan to eat at the restaurant you should be there around 6 or 6:30 otherwise you can get carry out. You would never know there was a lockdown by looking at the beach. Easter weekend was busier than the 3 weeks prior.

Scheduled to arrive on a Sunday early, will be in Negril before 2:00. Will hotel restaurants be open, on the cliffs ?

Bocaguy1...your hotel restaurant will be open...you're just not able to travel to other restaurants until Monday.

I'm assuming the restaurants that are not hotel affiliated are closed at the curfew on weekends. Is that correct?

We’ve been here since last Wednesday..Alfred’s, Kuyaba, Kenny’s, Sweet Spot, etc...are all open during lockdown with a variety of hours... planning ahead of time for meals has been the biggest challenge...but, it’s been great to be here.
