    Long Range Weather forecast ?

I will be arriving this Friday at Mo Bay in the late morning and checked on the MET long range weather and it calls for showers all this week on the whole Island ? There is some small class hurricane over on the Yucatan that may be causig some of it , but for any Boardies in Negril now - Whats going on with the weather ? I am used to some liquid sunshine but it never seems to camp over the whole Island for days at a time ?

Not sure what forecast you're looking at but it's usual "dry time" weather for the next week. Easterly trade winds with a 10 to 20 percent chance of showers which will most likely be in Portland and St. Mary's on the other side of the blue mountains.

Go Jamaica is the Gleaner's web site but the weather on the East side of the island is totally different than on the West side under normal conditions.

Don't will will be fine. It does call for scattered showers on Friday but, hey, I'm in Ottawa and I'd rather have that than rain or snow here any day!!

I use the site below for home and Negril:
