    Question about Idle Awhile

Hi Guys, so I switched my reservation in August from Country Country to Idle Awhile and we will be staying in the family suite that’s across the street from the beach. I tried calling and emailing the hotel with some questions but I haven’t gotten a response. Does anyone know if the family suite has an oven and stove? We like to cook our own meals. I wonder if it will be crowded in August. I haven’t stayed there since 2012 but I remember liking it and they had a nice beach area. Thank you! BA

    BA,

Call them direct at 876-957-3302. They will have all your answers, and no, August will not be crowded.

Just called and they said the room does come with an oven and stove yay. And I think the Hi Lo is still open right? We used to get all our groceries there.

Hi Lo is still open...along with 3 other grocery stores available downtown.

We got upgraded to a junior suite now! Looks lovely with a huge screened in patio. So excited to go now and the girls will love the beach.

I will be in Negril in August as well and I believe it will be busy as more people are vaccinated and are ready to travel. I booked airfare and hotel earlier this week and it went up $500.00 since then for 2 travelers.

During a regular tourist season...the dates in August that BethAnn has chosen are normally quiet.
But...I do hope you're right, TonyEagle...we need tourists down here asap!

Omg Tony, i just looked for airfare from JFK to MBJ and there were only two flights left on Delta and the price for first class was like $2,500 per person! We paid $650 each for first class from JFK with a stop in Miami. Wow, i got lucky i guess.

*edited to add: just looked for economy and the rates are reasonable and plenty of flights so it might just be a first class thing.
