    Hi Rob,
Is there any talk yet about when Jamaica will be able to start vaccinating the general population?? Several US states are now offering the vaccine to foreign visitors and several airport vaccination centers are opening to all travelers. Hopefully Jamaican visitors will take advantage of this offer. It’s a true game changer, life seems almost back to normal here.

This is where Jamaica sits with vaccinations...
"The Ministry of Health and Wellness wishes to advise that persons 50 years and older are now able to register to be vaccinated. This comes on the heels of the Ministry’s ongoing vaccination programme—with vaccination continuing for healthcare workers, members of the Jamaica Defence Force and Jamaica Constabulary Force, as well as staff members from the Department of Correctional Services, PICA and Jamaica Customs Agency."

    AND...2nd doses are starting...
"The Ministry of Health and Wellness will host a special Blitz at the National Arena on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. This Blitz is intended to provide the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine to the over 600 Jamaicans who received their first dose of the vaccine in March and have a due date of June 5. The Ministry will communicate to these persons by way of text messages as well as follow-up calls to the telephone numbers provided upon booking an appointment for the first dose."

There won't be many Jamaican visitors at this time to the US...but it sure would be nice for the access.
