Statement issued to passengers flying into the UK on wed 30th Nov by Heathrow airport

UK Border Agency staff are undertaking industrial action between midnight 29 November and midnight 30 November. We have worked with the UK Border Agency and airlines to minimise disruption, however we advise that arriving passengers required to pass through border agency checks should expect delays at immigration.
We ask passengers to follow UK Border Agency advice by:

- having travel documents, including passports, available and taken out of any wallets
- using automatic e-passport gates where available if you have a biometric passport
- having landing cards fully completed and ready
- staying in family groups

All other passengers are advised to continue to check the status of your flight with your airline. We’re doing all we can to support affected passengers at the airport.
