Small aircraft hop to Negril from Montego Bay

Can anyone share information on the business that operates the small aircraft shuttle to Negril? Thanks!

Not sure who if anyone is doing that on a regular schedule, I will check with my contacts tomorrow.

But a 15 minute flight to Negril with the amazing scenery is worth every second and every penny... simply breathtaking!

You are so right Rob. A few years ago we totally splurged and flew TIM from MBJ to Portland (Ken Jones Airport, adorable!), stayed at GeeJam for a few nights then flew the length of JA to the Negril Aerodrome. Portland was great but Negril is the best. The flight was unreal, the rolling hills and shades of green over Falmouth were breathtaking. We got up pretty high over the middle of JA and could see the sea on both sides of the island.

Just spoke with my contact at Club MoBay and both Timair and International Air Link are flying charter flights, no scheduled flights as the demand is too small at present.

Here is a page from the Sangster website that has all the contact information:

You can book when you get here but I highly advise calling them first. The plane needs to be readied and if they know that you are going in advance, they may be able to arrange the flight with more passengers which will greatly reduce your cost but may add to wait time.

There is no real waiting area other than a few chairs, so if your wait might be a long one, think about using the Club MoBay services. You would be able to relax, gets drinks and food, freshen up and they will escort you when the plane is ready.

The flight is really just over 10 minutes, but what a great 10 minutes and much cheaper than Blue Origin's 10 minute flight....
