Spreading the money around is motivation for the bash. Rather than one business getting a single busy day, a walk, crawl, scavenger hunt, poker/bingo, etc. will be the main focus from now on for the Bash. We will also try to incorporate live music so the performers can get their share. While the main Bash will remain on the last Friday in April, the "bash week" will start on Wednesday and end on Sunday to help multiple businesses in Negril.

The overwhelming support we receive with our small business campaign last year proved that you all understand the idea of helping as many local businesses as possible. We will be incorporating that concept in all future Boardie Bashes!

Thanks for all the ideas so far and we may be contacting a few of you to help finalize the details. Keep the ideas coming! The Bash is still a month away!

Along with the walk, crawl, scavenger etc. maybe individual establishment 'split the pot' raffles. This could be done on beach along with the cliffs. If there were, let's say 10 establishments, have them run the split the pot before the 'Big Bash'. Then there would be 10 individual winners at the bash. Then establishments could keep half (incentive to sell). Maybe add that the establishment that turns in the biggest $$$ amount wins something. Rob might have some ideas on what that could be. Another party at a future date, next years bash, or whatever might produce them some more business down the road. Just some random thoughts. BTW, I'm the best darn Paper, Scissor, Rock player in Illinois. ........ .....'just sayin'
