Beach Tales - Day One
Arrived on time, kiosk was fast, immigration forms were spread out on counters (bring your own pen).
Collected my checked luggage and went looking for my ride.
Hooked up with Oz next to the Groovy Grouper and we were off to Negril!
It was so nice to catchup with my old friend on the ride!
Stopped on the way for refreshments and more old friends.
Headed up the West End Road aka One Love Drive and met an old friend.
Oz and I stopped at Mi Yard to check the view from the porch,
Delroy, Pearl, Loydie and Pablo were all in attendance.
Checked in to Coco and chilled the rest of the day and night.
Sunday morning:
Up at 6am, walked the beach north to Beaches and back on Norman Manley Blvd.
On the way back, bumped into a guy who owned Booby Cay, he sold me the development rights cheap cheap! More later!
Breakfast at Coco, then headed south to Alfred’s and back. Bought a bottle of fresh squeezed on US $7
Then walked the road to Cafe Goa and back.
Great to be back after seven years!
Lots of memories and emotions flooding back!
Wonderful falling asleep last night to the gleep gleep gleep!
Lunch with B Drive and then a Boardie gathering at 876 Apple Lounge tonight starting at 6:30pm up by Breadnut Lane formerly Primrose.
Enjoy,
VVHT

Re: Beach Tales - Day One
VVHT glad you made it back and hope you have a blast. Miss you buddy. Still remember like it was yesterday your very 1st trip report when you were staying at Seastar and went across the street into the bush and the chronicles of your discoveries. Still one of the best reports I've ever read. Although one night a couple years later when we crossed paths at Mi Yard is still a little blurry , I do remember it was fun but the vicious hangover the next day I still haven't forgot. Til the next time Jambarney & Badnaz
