Jamaica mourns the passing of our Head of State

The Queen passed yesterday, September 8, 2022. In her 70 year reign, Queen Elizabeth was the official Head of State for Jamaica. She visited here many times and many Jamaicans loved Her Majesty.

The Observer wrote a detailed tribute to this amazing woman who essentially formed the British Commonwealth as it is known today. Here is a link to the article:

On a personal note I received the benefits of the Queen immediately after Hurricane Gilbert. British Air were the first planes to land with drinkable water and other
    necessary supplies.

May this Monarch rest in the peace she so deeply earned and deserves.
