If we were going to do one big show this year, we decided it would be this one. Glad we did. Huge stage set-up. Big sound. Although Roots Bamboo's sound system was really loud at times. Kinda annoying. Even the guitar player mentioned it. Third World came on at 12:10 and played til 2:10. Really good. Lots of diversity of music. Wasn't a huge crowd, but decent. Prince J and Mr. Universe opened with Skibbo on da bass. All good mon'.

wonder why the main bands come on so late. i think there would be a bigger crowd if they played earlier

I think Gregory Isaacs probably holds the record. We once waited for him until 1 a.m. for a 10 p.m. show at Bella Donna, then left. The next day we heard he finally showed up around 3:30 a.m. and Miss Bella was so angry she made him sleep it off on a table in the yard. I think the nose candy had something to do with it.
