It’s been a wonderful four weeks so far. Had a great first week in Negril, but boy oh boy it is pricey now. Stayed at the Negril Beach Club in a small basic unit with no kitchen so all meals were done in restaurants. Chicken lavish is still as good as ever, and Doc is always happy to see a familiar face! Ate at Sweet Spot, Fuzion, Swordfish, cafe Goa, to name a few. Met some old friends, made some new friends, all in all a good week. Then off to Belmont. Stayed at Horizon Cottages and what a lovely property! Sophia and Laga really take great care of you, with walking tours and some great cooked meals. Ate at a cook shack across the street a couple of times as well as at Luna Sea. Prices were great in Belmont for things like coffee and rum cream, beers, snacks. Would definitely stay there again. Have been in Treasure Beach for two weeks and it has been hot hot hot! Loving the pool at Serendipity to cool off in and have bounced around in the sea a few times as well. Very bad accident here on Friday afternoon. Husband and wife from British Columbia, Canada, hit by a reckless driver who took off from scene. Wife passed from injuries and husband is still in hospital awaiting lengthy surgery. They were due to leave today, so very sad and the community is up in arms. Seems that Kory and his wife Janette have split up Johng. He is running the hotel and she operates a small shop at the front of the property. Eggy’s did his St Patrick’s Day Ganga fest yesterday with several farmers different strains being judged! Always a good time at Eggy’s. Have done a lot of walking here as Serendipity is up in the hills overlooking the sports park so for every pound lost several beers must be consumed! Also went out fishing I
One day with Turbot and Bebe. Only caught a small mackerel, but a great way to while away a few early morning hours! Going to try to post some e pics here, no promises as I seem to fail at this every time I try,but here goes nothing! Cheers from TB!
