Charella
Wife and I are considering a stay at Charella, but someone recently posted that they experienced a problem with hot water in the shower. I?m aware that the rooms are outdated, but no hot water is
a dealbreaker.
Anyone else experience problems during their visits to Charella???

Re: Charella
I stay at Charela every year, last time this past February and it was great as always. I had plenty of hot water but I don't know how it works there, if there's a water heater for each room or block of rooms. "Dated rooms" are not an issue for me - the beach front rooms I stay in are in good shape and very comfortable - there's enough wood on the ceiling and french doors to make them seem charming. It's one of the best places on the beach by far

Re: Charella
Having stayed at many places over 30 years of travelling to Negril, Charela Inn is currently my number one choice of hotel there. Best beach, quiet, comfortable rooms and excellent food. At Charela, we never once had a hot or any other water issue. Our last stay was this April and we loved it as usual and will be back in August.
Speaking of water, you will now find an excellent tasting complimentary spring water in your room fridge upon arrival. Afterwards we had many more bottles at the restaurant. It tastes soo good! It comes from a spring on the border of Hanover and Westmoreland in nice glass bottles. :-)
